"We became timeshare owners in 1994 because as our family started to grow, we needed more spacious accommodations than a hotel room could offer. We also knew if we became timeshare owners, we would be guaranteed a vacation every year for the rest of our life. Timeshare ownership has allowed us to travel to Kauii Hawaii, Maui Hawaii, Cancun Mexico, Puerto Vallarta Mexico & Hilton Head Island South Carolina. Timeshare ownership has truly exceeded our expectations."

"We purchased our first timeshare 14 years ago. We were impressed with the property size, furnishings, activities, etc. We compared the daily cost we had been paying to rent comparable units for a week at our usual vacation location versus the cost after we bought & felt it would be very cost effective. We know this is not an investment but is a "prepaid vacation" we look forward to every year! It is something we can & will pass along to our children. If we want we can & have exchanged for other properties in this country, the Caribbean & are thinking of Spain next year."

"My wife and I had just sold our home of 25 years and had an opportunity to visit a beautiful timeshare country club in the Orlando, FL area. We raised five children who were now out in the world on their own and were beginning to raise their own family. We were first time grandparents at the time we decided to purchase Timeshare. The primary reasons we decided to purchase our two weeks was because of the location; Disney World, Epcot, Universal Studios and Sea World to name a few. It's an ideal location for my children to take their children on vacation. The other reason is that as owners of a timeshare at a fine resort we can use our weeks at other quality resorts all over the world. How can you beat a vacation at the finest accommodations throughout the world that doesn't cost you anything other than the transportation to get there, and the food you eat while enjoying your vacation? One of my sons is going to be graduating from college in another year and a half and he wants to travel to Ireland when he graduates. I may decide to join him there."

"Since we love to vacation often it was in our best interest to become timeshare owners. By becoming owners we knew that we would take the many vacations that we liked in the comfort of a home environment. We loved the ability to go to different resorts instead of our home resort at little to no cost at all. The feeling of being on vacation in a condo verses one room with no activities speaks for itself. We looked at what we would be spending down the road for vacations that we planned to take and the money that we would pay a month to own, and we knew that ownership would pay for itself. Also the ability to bring family and friends at no extra cost with the space to accommodate is reason enough to own."

"We became vacation owners about 5 years ago with RCI. We have a family of 6 with children ages 15, 12, 11, and 4. The reason we became timeshare owners was it was a way of affording and also forcing us to take a least 1 vacation a year where we didn't have to scrimp and save. This allows us to stay at a luxurious 2-bedroom condominium all over the world. In fact we are going to Costa Del Sol, Spain in February. If I had to try and save up enough money to pay for a 2-bedroom condominium along with airfare for 6 people during the year, this would be almost impossible with all of our day to day expenses. Additionally we always thought that by owning a timeshare, this would be an ideal way of giving each of our kids, a 1 week honeymoon basically anywhere in the world, when it was time for them to get married."

"In 1992, my husband & I retired. Still very vibrant and with dreams of fun-filled days of travel in mind, we listened as relatives described with pride how they had used their timeshare to enjoy a most exciting, lengthy vacation from their home in Ohio to California and back. They told us how very diverse the locations were that they visited while traveling to Palm Springs and on their return home. They planned it all by selecting timeshare resorts in places they wanted to visit. It was easy, they said to plan multiple vacations when you are a timeshare owner. We were convinced and joined the savvy travelers by purchasing at a Gold Crown rated timeshare resort in 1992. Now we tell others about the benefits of timeshare ownership: Flexible scheduling, great hospitality, dependable safety measures in place, delightful planned activities, loads of exciting amenities for every age group, and best of all, fabulous comfort at the end of each fun filled day. From golden beaches, to snow covered ski slopes, to historic picturesque vacation spots throughout out the world are all yours with timeshare ownership. We don't ever want to stop."

"I didn't think that timeshare ownership fit our style of vacationing. We were "camping or staying-with-relatives" people who stayed at motels only when passing through on a travel vacation. But buying a points based product gave us the additional option of trading our week through their point program, and we could use those points for lodging by the day or for travel. That possibility made the purchase feasible for us. Over the past 14 years, we have traded for points 5 times, occupied 7, and exchanged the other 3. That flexibility has been wonderful and we have enjoyed some terrific vacations."
