1. Who is the resort developer? Who owns the resort?

2. How long has the company (Developer) been in business?

3. How long has the resort been opened?

4. How many total owners does the resort have?

5. How many total units will be built at that location?

6. When will the project be completely built out?

7. What Exchange Company is your resort affiliated with?

8. How is the resort managed?

• Does the developer manage the resort or has a management company been hired?
• What is the name of the Management Company?
• Does the homeowner's association make management decisions?
• How often do they meet?
• Is the association budget adequate to maintain the resort and its amenities? Ask to see recent resort and HOA newsletters including budgets to learn more.

About the Timeshare Product

1. How many units are already built? What size units are for sale?

2. What kind of Timeshare program do you sell? (Deeded or Non-Deeded, Right to Use, Fixed vs. Floating, Seasons, Points or some combination)

3. If non-deeded (Right to Use), what is the term of the use?

4. If points, ask for an explanation of the points and their value. How many points do I need to buy to own a summer week? What else can I use my points for?

5. What is the cost of a timeshare week? How much do points cost? Can I purchase additional points? How much do additional points cost?

6. How much are the annual maintenance fees including real estate taxes?

7. If I purchase today, when can I start using my Timeshare?

8. Can I use the resort amenities even if I'm not checked in to the resort?
